F-102A | USAF | 32 FIS | 61027, 61014, 61236, 61002 6 aircraft left Soesterberg for the William Tell Meet at Tyndall AFB, FL : 61023, 61032, 61130, 61163, 61211, 61244 This was the first time in WTM history that overseas entry made a transoceanic deployment to fly it's own aircraft in the Meet. Before the Meet, training flights were made from Jacksonville ANGB, FL. The first 4 aircraft actually flew in the Meet held during 01-09 October , 61211 and 61244 were parked at Eglin AFB, FL The 32nd took the first place in the F-102 category, the Richard I. Bong Trophy was won. All aircraft returned to Soesterberg on 15 October. |
